ISRC Workshop: Introduction to Unix Bash Commands
Feb 15, 2018 2:00 - 2:50 p.m.
177 Schaeffer Hall (SH)
In this workshop, we will introduce basics of using Unix Bash commands. Unix bash commands are used extensively. For example, to use Neon/Argon, the two HPC systems, we need some knowledge of Linux command lines. We will cover very basics of using command lines to navigate directories, run scripts, create/edit files/folders, etc. If time permits, we will go to Argon for a hands-on practice to submit and monitor jobs. Code will be provided on Github.
