The Public Policy Center will host a day-long conference on gendered violence on Friday, March 24 at the Old Capitol Senate Chambers.

The conference will include a local and state panel that will evaluate policy changes on domestic violence, with some focus on the rural area challenges of Iowa and upcoming climate in the state legislature. A second panel will discuss policy problems at the national level around recent renewal of the Violence Against Women Act (VAWA), Supreme Court decisions, and administration changes. And an international panel will discuss research about violence against women globally, conflict and violence against women, and comparative public policy.

This page will be continually updated as speakers and topics are confirmed. Please check back.
