Andrea McGuire

Dr. Andy McGuire leads the strategic direction for the American Enterprise Group, and clinical oversight of Medical Management, Pharmacy Management, Risk Selection, and Network Management. She is chair of the College of Public Health Board of Advisors at the University of Iowa School of Public Health, and co-chairs the Partnership for Better Health. She is also vice chair of the Initiative to Decrease Unintended Pregnancies, and serves on the Iowa Department of Economic Development Board. Her advocacy for health, woman and children lead her to run for Lt. Governor of Iowa. She previously worked as a nuclear medicine physician at Mercy Radiology and Veterans Hospital in Des Moines. From 1998 to 2002, Dr. McGuire was vice president of medical resource management and medical director at Wellmark Blue Cross/Blue Shield of Iowa and South Dakota. She earned BA and MD degrees at Creighton University in Omaha, and holds an MBA from Kennesaw State University.
