Dan Cox

Daniel D. Cox, PhD is in his third year as the Superintendent of the Charles City (IA) Community School District.  He served for eight years as an administrator in the Waterloo Community School District and at Valley Lutheran (Cedar Falls).  Cox taught high school Spanish and coached in the Essex and West Marshall school districts for 14 years before moving into administration.  He was named the District Teacher of the Year at West Marshall in 2005.  Cox was a co-recipient of the Jordan Larson Outstanding Ph.D. Student Award at Iowa State University in 2013.  In November he will travel to Argentina on a Fulbright-City of Buenos Aires Administrator Exchange.
