Wendy Pearson has been with NOAA’s National Weather Service (NWS) for 17 years and has worked in Iowa, Illinois, Minnesota, North Dakota, and Missouri. Since 1999, she has been the Central Region Service Support Hydrologist, supporting the NOAA NWS Hydrology Program across 14 mid-western states. She is leading Flood Inundation Mapping and Advanced Hydrologic Prediction Service (AHPS) Web Page projects and incorporating societal impacts into climate, weather and water forecasting. Wendy has an MBA with a certificate in Project Management and received her Bachelor of Science degree in Meteorology from Iowa State University in 1993.
