Interdisciplinary Group Addresses Consumer Debt

Iowa Magazine just released a video featuring PPC researchers Jerry Anthony (Housing and Land Use) and Kevin Leicht (Social Science). The piece looks at the continuing Great Recession and its effect on American consumers. Anthony, Leicht and UI law professor Katherine Porter discuss issues such as bankruptcy, consumer debt, and the housing foreclosure crisis. Their work was highlighted in a recent seminar at the Obermann Center for Advanced Studies titled, "Borrowing to the Brink: Consumer Debt in America."
