One-Year Anniversary of Health Care Reform

PPC Director Peter Damiano participated in a discussion marking the one-year anniversary of the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act, the landmark legislation that sought to reform health care in America. The discussion took place on the Iowa Public Radio Show "The Exchange" on Thursday March 17. The panel included Health System President and CEO Bill Leaver, and Dr. Mariannette Miller-Meeks, Director of the Iowa Department of Public Health. Panelists considered changes that have already taken effect and the challenges ahead for Iowa.
