Damiano leads HRSA Midwest Oral Health Summit

PPC and Health Policy Research Program Director Pete Damiano was lead facilitator of the 2011 Midwest Oral Health Summit in Kansas City on September 12, 2011. The summit was sponsored by the Regional Office of the Federal Health Resources and Services Administration and brought together about 80 oral health experts from Nebraska, Kansas, Iowa and Missouri. The meeting focused on developing public/private partnerships to address key oral health challenges in each state. U.S. Assistant Secretary of Health Dr. Howard Koh, was the Keynote Speaker for the event.
