Damiano Points to Perfect Storm in Health Insurance Marketplace

Dr. Peter Damiano, director of the Public Policy Center and health policy researcher, recently was interviewed in a KCRG TV9 News about patients and providers facing difficulties in the health insurance marketplace.  After Iowa's insurance commmissioner took over CoOportunity Health Insurance, many Iowans were left with a lack of options for health insurance. KCRG TV9 News ran a story about Dubuque patients who will have a very limited choice of providers until other insurance companies join the exchange.
