IISC Transportation Plan Adopted by the city of Sioux City

The city of Sioux City, Iowa is closer to installing bike lanes and pedestrian-friendly crosswalks, thanks to a project advised by PPC researcher and Professor of Urban and Regional Planning, Scott Spak.

The Active Transportation Plan, designed by students from the Iowa Initiative for Sustainable Communities, recommends bike and pedestrian improvements like bike lanes, safer sidewalks and crosswalks, as well as implementation costs and timelines.
