McGehee discusses MyCarDoesWhat campaign at Automotive Media Association

Daniel McGehee, Director of the Transportation and Vehicle Safety Policy Research Program at the University of Iowa Public Policy Center (PPC), spoke at an Automotive Press Association/Midwest Automotive Media Association Luncheon on Wednesday, April 6 about the MyCarDoesWhat campaign, the need for the campaign, and the research that supports it. The session was sponsored by the National Safety Council and the University of Iowa, partners on the driver education campaign. 

MyCarDoesWhat is a national campaign to help educate drivers about new vehicle safety technologies designed to help prevent crashes. The goal of the campaign is to explain to drivers how best to use these safety technologies, leading to safer driving. 

McGehee was joined by Alex Epstein of the National Safety Council.
