Cwiertny to Receive ES&T Super Reviewer Award

David Cwiertny, director of the environmental policy research program at the UI Public Policy Center, associate professor of civil and environmental engineering and associate faculty research engineer at IIHR--Hydroscience & Engineering has been selected to receive the 2016 ES&T Super Reviewer Award from Environmental Science & Technology (ES&T).

Every year, the associate editors of ES&T identify reviewers whose contributions stand out in terms of quality, timeliness, and quantity, referred to as Super Reviewers. It was first awarded in 2011 to reviewers who consistently make major contributions to the journal over multiple years. Cwiertny previously received the Excellence in Review Award from the publication, established in 2003 to recognize contributions during a single year.

Environmental Science & Technology is a biweekly peer-reviewed scientific journal published since 1967 by the American Chemical Society. It covers research in environmental science and environmental technology, including environmental policy.
