Health Policy Research Program members invited to present at Urban Institute

Members of the Health Policy Research Program at the Public Policy Center were invited to present at the Urban Institute’s “Research Evaluations of Medicaid Expansions under the ACA: Sharing Results and Comparing Approaches,” on Nov. 16 in Washington, D.C.

Elizabeth Momany, Assistant Director and Associate Research Scientist, and Suzanne Bentler, Assistant Research Scientist, presented selected results from the Iowa Health and Wellness Plan as part of a session on states’ experiences with Medicaid expansion waivers. Momany and Bentler conducted their research along with PPC researchers Peter Damiano, Dan Shane, Natoshia Askelson and Brad Wright.
