Damiano to present on the ACA at ADEA annual meeting

Dr. Pete Damiano, Director of the Public Policy Center and professor of Preventive and Community Dentistry in the UI College of Dentistry and Dental Clinics, will participate in the American Dental Education Association’s Annual Session and Expedition March 16-20, 2017 in Long Beach, Calif.

Damiano, an expert on the Affordable Care Act, will present an update on the ACA, with an emphasis on the provisions of importance to academic dentistry and the profession of dentistry.

The American Dental Education Association’s mission is to lead institutions and individuals in the dental education community to address contemporary issues influencing education, research and the delivery of oral health care for the overall health and safety of the public.
