Reynolds participates in Dental Quality Alliance Conference

Body

Dr. Julie Reynolds, researcher in the PPC’s Health Policy Research Program, participated in the 2017 Dental Quality Alliance Conference May 12-13. The conference was hosted by the American Dental Association at its headquarters in Chicago.

The purpose of the conference is for professionals to gain knowledge on the need for and the goals of measurement to support quality improvement in oral healthcare; explore strategies for successfully leading and influencing healthcare improvement through measurement in dentistry; and examine emerging trends in quality measurement and leadership across the dental care continuum.

According to Reynolds, the conference aligns with the PPC’s Patient-Centered Dental Home (PCDH) project that is focused on creating a method for recognizing dental practices by aligning dental quality metrics to desirable characteristics of a dental home.
