Damiano emcees 2017 White Coat Ceremony

Dr. Pete Damiano, Professor in the Department of Preventive and Community Dentistry, served as the Master of Ceremonies for the University of Iowa College of Dentistry and Dental Clinics 2017 White Coat Ceremony on Friday, May 19.

The annual White Coat Ceremony closes the first year of dental school for students, and marks their transition to additional patient care responsibilities during year two. Students are ceremonially cloaked with their first white laboratory coats and recite the Oath of a Dentist. 

Damiano is also the Director of the Public Policy Center and the PPC's Health Policy Research Program.
