ICCSD report shows some students feel 'unsafe and unwelcome' in the classroom

Some Iowa City students say they don't feel safe at school. 

That's according to the results of a survey students in fifth grade through seniors in high school took earlier this year. The district was slightly surprised but mainly disappointed that some students feel unsafe. A link to an interactive graph displaying the results from the survey is below. The survey was conducted by Sarah Bruch, Director of the PPC's Social and Education Policy Research Program, and her research team.
