Introducing underrepresented students to health professions

The University of Iowa has introduced a six-week summer program to promote underrepresented students in the health professions. PPC researchers Dr. Susan McKernan and Jen Sukalski gave a presentation to the students this summer. McKernan and Sukalski talked to the students about educational requirements and professional responsibilities associated with being a dentist or a hygienist.
