Spak Featured in WalletHub Piece on Greenest States in US

Scott Spak, Assistant Professor in the UI School of Urban and Regional Planning, Assistant Professor in Civil and Environmental Engineering, and Researcher in the Environmental Policy Research Program, was featured in a WalletHub piece about the greenest states in America. 

The article asserts that eco-friendliness and personal finance are related, and that environmental and financial needs are the same in many areas. In it, Spak addresses the trade-off between protecting the environment and promoting economic growth, how states might be affected by the Trump administration's EPA policies, and what individuals can do to reduce their effect on the environment.
