Laurel Tuggle

Laurel is a graduate research assistant supporting the study of medical-dental integration in public health at the University of Iowa Public Policy Center. She is also a second year MPH student in Community and Behavioral Health. She works with Susan McKernan, Raymond Kuthy, and Julie Reynolds on an environmental scan of oral health and chronic disease prevention in local and state governments and non-profit public health organizations. Outside of the PPC, her practicum project for her MPH degree will focus on mental health awareness and resource improvement at the Grinnell Middle School in Grinnell, Iowa.
