City and land management planner Jerry Anthony examined life challenges and emerging trends in megacities worldwide in his presentation to the Linn County United Nations Association.

Anthony is director of the housing policy program at the Public Policy Center at the University of Iowa, as well as being an associate professor at the School of Urban and Regional Planning there. In 2003 he founded a non-profit agency in Johnson County, Iowa, to provide a new, flexible source of finance for affordable housing development there.
