Don't miss the virtual conversation between Jeffrey Minear, counselor to Chief Justice John Roberts, and the Hon. Jeffrey Sutton, chief Judge of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit, about the constitutional roles and responsibilities of the U.S. federal courts to American government and its democratic institutions. Mark West, the David A. Breach Dean of Law and Nippon Life Professor of Law at the University of Michigan, will deliver opening remarks.

Students and members of the Big Ten community will have an opportunity to ask the speakers questions regarding judicial branch governance. Email your questions to Professor Stephanie Newbold (stephanie.newbold@rutgers.edu) by September 30. You will also have the option to submit a question when registering.

The event will take place live at the University of Michigan Law School, and live stream will also be available. The link will be emailed to all registrants on the morning of October 11.
