Please join us for an interdisciplinary conversation at the University of Iowa Stanley Museum of Art featuring three UI community-engaged scholars who have recently published co-authored, collaborative works. A Q&A will follow the remarks.

  • Mary Cohen, associate professor of music education
    Music Making in U.S. Prisons (co-authored by Stuart P. Duncan)
  • Samantha Zuhlke, assistant professor in the School of Planning and Public Affairs and PPC research fellow in the Environmental Policy Research Program
    The Profits of Distrust: Citizen-Consumers, Drinking Water, and the Crisis of Confidence in American Government (co-authored by Manuel P. Teodoro and David Switzer)
  • Stephen Warren, professor of history
    Replanting Cultures: Community Engaged Scholarship in Indian Country (co-authored by Chief Ben Barnes of the Shawnee Tribe)

This event, co-hosted by the University of Iowa Stanley Museum of Art, is free and open to the public, and RSVPs are encouraged. Appetizers and wine will be available at the event. A livestream will also be available for those who cannot make it in-person.
