The Public Policy Center is a proud co-sponsor this health equity conference coming to the University of Iowa on April 28.

My City My Health brings together experts from various sectors, including healthcare providers, community advocates, policymakers, and researchers, to share knowledge, ideas, and best practices related to prevention, social determinants of health, health disparities, and wellness. This collaborative approach will help to identify gaps and opportunities for transformation in these areas.

  • Highlight health equity issues:
The conference focuses on health equity and the challenges faced by underserved populations. Sessions explore strategies for improving access to care, reducing disparities, and promoting wellness among communities often marginalized or excluded from healthcare systems.
  • Foster innovation and collaboration:
Through interactive panels and networking opportunities, the conference aims to spark innovation and collaboration among attendees. By bringing together diverse perspectives and expertise, the conference will create opportunities for new partnerships and initiatives to help transform wellness-related health activities.
