Supporting Underrepresented Students in Sustainability

April 7, 2021

Zoom - see link

The Public Policy Center is proud to promote the Earth Month events hosted by the UI Office of Sustainability and the Environment.

Join us to learn how your institution can support underrepresented students in sustainability! Students Hallie Lartius and Julia Krist created the UI Office of Sustainability's Underrepresented Students in Sustainability (USS) Program in 2019. A year later, the program has provided mentoring and funding to over 25 students and future leaders in sustainability. In this presentation, we will offer a guide on how to create similar programs at your institution and share our own students' experiences on underrepresentation in sustainability.
