Webinar: The ACA Through a Post-Election Lens with Pete Damiano

December 9, 2014
11:00 AM – 12:00 PM
Webinar

The ACA was enacted four years ago.  How has it affected dental education, access to oral health care, and dental and craniofacial research?  When the new Congress is sworn in January 2015, what will happen to the ACA?  Will certain provisions of the law be repealed, replaced or defunded?

Join the American Dental Education Association to discuss these and other questions for "The ACA Through a Post-Election Lens," the 5th webinar in the ADEA Policy Center's Leading Conversations series.

In this timely webinar, Peter Damiano, D.D.C., M.P.H., Director, Public Policy Center and Professor, College of Dentistry & Dental Clinics at The University of Iowa, hands out the grades on the ACA's progress during 2014, and explains how the election might affect implementation.

The webinar will focus on:

  • Key components of the ACA related to access to oral health care.
  • The law's impact on oral health care and academic dentistry.
  • What to expect next when the 114th session of Congress convenes.
