'Woke Up Black' Film Screening
Woke Up Black documents a two-year period in the lives of five black youth ages 16-21, capturing both day-to-day life events such as family gatherings and interactions with the justice system, as well as major milestones such as high school graduations and first days at college. The film focuses on the youths' ideas and opinions in their own words, and underscores the humanity that we all share regardless of race or age.
