David Frisvold, PPC Scholar-in-Residence and associate professor in the Department of Economics, will participate in a work shop at Iowa State University, "Federal Statistical Research Data Centers: Opportunities for Researchers to Use Restricted Access Data," on Thursday, March 30. Frisvold will present "Health Economics Research in the RDC."

Fred Boehmke, director of the Iowa Social Science Research Center and professor of political science, received a grant from the National Science Foundation. The $420,000 grant will fund two years of research at the University of Iowa and three other universities – Penn State, Notre Dame and the University of Massachusetts.
