Bio

Austin Tang is a PhD student from the Department of Geographical and Sustainability Sciences and an MPH student from the Department of Biostatistics. He is a medical geographer who studies the distribution and spread of diseases from spatial and human-environment interaction perspectives. His research concerns various health issues including pediatric lead poisoning, H5N1 avian influenza and antibiotics resistance.
