Laurel Tuggle

Tuggle is a graduate research assistant supporting the study of medical-dental integration in public health at the Public Policy Center. She graduated with her M.P.H. in community and behavioral health in 2017. She works with Susan McKernan, Raymond Kuthy and Julie Reynolds on an environmental scan of oral health and chronic disease prevention in local and state governments and non-profit public health organizations. Outside of the PPC, she has been involved with projects regarding mental health in schools, diabetes prevention at the Meskwaki Settlement, and community giving gardens in Grinnell, Iowa.
