The Good Jobs Deficit

Socal science researcher Colin Gordon evaluates the 2012 "Black Friday" protests by Walmart employees in regards to fair wages and working conditions. Gordon's research found that "looking back over the last generation, [there] shows an increase in polarization in the labor market: job growth has been robust in a few high-skill, high-wage, managerial and technical fields, and in the low-skill, low-wage, service occupations."
