ISRC Workshop: Spatial Analysis with GeoDa and ArcMap

The workshop will provide a brief introduction to spatial analysis, focusing on spatial regression using GeoDa, a free software package. Participants will learn to identify spatial dependency in the spatial datasets, visualize spatial autocorrelation and run spatial regression models. Participants may be expected to take 'ISRC Workshop: Introduction to ArcMap' as a prerequisite for some familiarity with spatial datasets and ArcMap, but no prior knowledge of GeoDa is required. Participants are encouraged to bring up questions on spatial aspects of their research. Datasets will be provided.
