Bear Braumoeller, associate professor of political science at The Ohio State University, will present The Contributions of Social Science to Data Visualization, from 4 to 5 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 3 in 140 Seashore Hall. 

Braumoeller's visit is sponsored by the Iowa Social Science Research Center and supported by the University of Iowa Departments of Sociology, Political Science and Statistics and Actuarial Sciences, all in the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences, and the UI Informatics Initiative.
