Dana Millard

Dana Millard is the Marketing & Communications Manager for Lee County Economic Development Group (EDG). A native of Southeast Iowa, Dana earned her Bachelor’s degree in Marketing and Sales from the University of Northern Iowa.

In her role with Lee County EDG, Dana connects business and industry with education. She is heavily involved in the area schools, AEA, and businesses, promoting STEM education and activities as well as STEM career opportunities. Through Lee County EDG’s Grow Lee Workforce Initiatives, Dana has implemented a Lego Robotics program, assisted in growing the Teacher Externship program, developed scholarships for Southeastern Community College’s Kidtek U STEM Summer Camps, assisted with career fairs and is in the process of launching a Manufacturing 101 course. 

She currently serves on the Governor’s Southeast Regional STEM Advisory Board, Southeastern Community College’s Connecting Business and Education Committee, local high school Career Technical Education Advisory Committees, the Industrial Technologies Regional Advisory Council and Regional Business Advisory Council. Dana was also awarded Title IX Champion award on behalf of the AAUW for her work in building STEM education in Lee County.
