Scott Blankman

Scott Blankman is the Director of Environmental Affairs and Energy Markets at Alliant Energy.  He is responsible for environmenta compliance of the generation and energy delivery operations and energy market trading, energy risk management, fossil fuel procurement, and support of customer-owned generation and energy market operation activities of the company.  He facilitates the development of strategic planning in support of strategic initiatives.

Scott has been with Alliant since 2005, first as Assistant Controller of Utility Operations, then as Director of Business and Financial Performance in Generation, and then as Director of Energy Markets, before moving to his current role earlier this year.  He holds a BA in Accounting from the University of Northern Iowa and an MBA from the University of Wisconsin in Madison.
