Kuthy, Mckernan, Reynolds Present Findings on Iowa Oral Health Workforce

Dr.’s Ray Kuthy, Susan McKernan, and Julie Reynolds have recently presented initial findings from the project “Coordinating and improving oral health workforce activities in Iowa” to several stakeholder groups in Iowa. In October, McKernan presented to the Advisory Council for the Office of Health Care Transformation at the Iowa Department of Public Health. Her presentation was titled “Pharmacy and Dental Workforce in Iowa.” Kuthy and Reynolds also presented at the Delta Dental of Iowa Foundation to an ad hoc committee on dental hygiene workforce. They reviewed their findings from an assessment of dental hygiene workforce in Iowa. In November, McKernan and Kuthy presented to other state oral health funded grantees regarding the progress of the project and future directions.
