School climate survey results discussed at Iowa City forum

A panel of students from City High, South East Junior High and the Theodore Roosevelt Education Center.

Sarah Bruch, director of the Policy Center's Social and Education Policy Program, and graduate students Tessa Heeren and Harper Haynes, presented results from a school climate survey on Thursday, April 28 at a community forum. Bruch's research team conducted the survey in February 2016 in partnership with the Iowa City Community School District. The survey is linked to the district's equity statement and equity plan, both approved by the Iowa City Community School Board last year.
