Touch screens are distracting drivers. What are carmakers doing to help?

Dan McGehee, director of the PPC's Transportation and Vehicle Safety Policy Research Program, spoke with NPR's All Tech Considered about touch screen systems in vehicles. McGehee is also director of the National Advanced Driving Simulator and associate professor of mechanical and industrial engineering, emergency medicine and public health.
