Anthony Presents on Affordable Housing in Muscatine

Jerry Anthony, Associate Professor in the UI School of Urban and Regional Planning and Researcher in the Social and Education Policy Research Program, gave a presentation on affordable housing in Muscatine, IA earlier this month. 

Citing his research on cost-burdened housing (household spends more than 30 percent of income on housing), Anthony conveyed to the audience that availability of mixed income housing leads to better economic development, health outcomes, and educational performance.
