Eliza Steere

Eliza is a fourth-year undergraduate to graduate student from Palos Verdes, California graduating with a bachelor of arts and an MPH in 2023.

"I am interested in research relating to cancer prevention and vaccinations. Multiple members of my family have been impacted by cancer and polio. I saw first-hand how these conditions can impact individuals for a long period of time and wanted to prevent other families from experiencing a similar situation. I love promoting the HPV vaccine because it is cancer prevention!"

"I would love to pursue a career in academia or work at the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) one day! I plan on pursuing a career in some avenue of qualitative research."

Fun Fact: She is a first degree Kukkiwon black belt in Taekwondo!
