Aparna is a PhD candidate in Oral Science in the Preventive and Community Dentistry Department. She analyzes and reports data for research projects evaluating the Iowa Health and Wellness Plan and the Dental Wellness Plan. Her dissertation will focus on evaluating the impact of state Medicaid expansions on dental care utilization and spending outcomes.
