Iowa Child and Family Household Health Survey 2010 Results
The IHHS is a comprehensive, statewide effort to evaluate the health status, access to health care, and social environment of children of children and families in Iowa. The first IHHS was conducted in 2000 and the second in 2005. Data collection for the 2010 IHHS used an address-based sampling (ABS) approach. In addition to standard questions used in every survey, special topics are investigated each time the survey is administered, such as questions having to do with children with special health care needs, racial and ethnic disparities, and physical activity and nutrition.
