Juan Cadenillas

In his role as a Public Health Planner at the Polk County Health Department, Juan Cadenillas has been involved in planning and coordinating extreme response efforts with the Department and its partners.  These operations have included community-based initiatives and building of partnerships to be utilized during periods of extreme heat. In addition, he assisted the Health Department in conducting a data and mapping research to identify vulnerable areas in the county. The results of this research helped to prioritize outreach efforts and location of extreme heat cooling centers . Mr Cadenillas earned a M.S. in Public Health from Des Moines University.
