Ron Pollack is the Founding Executive Director of Families USA, a national organization that seeks to achieve high quality, affordable health coverage for all Americans. Families USA’s research is often cited by congress, state legislatures, and other policy makers. In 1997, Mr. Pollack was appointed by President Clinton as the sole consumer representative on the Presidential Advisory Commission on Consumer Protection and Quality in the Health Care Industry. He received the “Common Ground” co-award for his work helping ideologically diverse health organizations reach an historic consensus about expanded health coverage for the uninsured. Mr. Pollack has been a guest on The PBS NewsHour, NBC's Today show, and ABC's Good Morning America. He has been named one of the nine top nonprofit lobbyists by The Hill, and one of the 100 Most Powerful People in Health Care by Modern Healthcare. Previously, Mr. Pollack served as Dean of the Antioch School of Law. He received his law degree from New York University.
