Transportation Finance and Economics Research

The condition of America's road's and bridges and the question of how best to pay for their upkeep has made national headlines recently. However, the subject is even more complex when one considers the econimic and land use implications of transportation investments such as new highways. Our work in this area ranges from a national evaluation of an alternative fuel tax to local economic development impacts to the most efficient and effective way to transport Medicaid members.
