ISRC workshop: Python Basics I: Variables, Data Structures and Control Logic

October 4, 2017
11:30 AM – 12:30 PM
117 Macbride Hall (MH)

In the second workshop, we will cover the basics of Python language: (i) variables, (ii) data structures, and (iii) control logics. Specifically, we will talk about the definition and naming convention of variables. We then introduce common types of data structures, including list, tuple, and dictionary. For control logics, we touch on if-else clauses and for/while loops, along with some important keywords. Please bring your own laptop for hands-on exercise and practice.
