The Iowa City Press-Citizen recently reported on a presentation given by PPC Director Peter Damiano on the implications of health care reform for seniors. Relevant programs in the bill include the $250 rebate toward closing the 'doughnut hole' in prescription drug coverage and a temporary reinsurance program to help offset the cost of premiums for employers providing retiree benefits.
