The expansion of the Iowa Social Science Research Center was recently featured in the Daily Iowan. Center Director and UI Professor Kevin Leicht explained that the expansion "came about from the desire to create more interdisciplinary research across campus." Associate Director Kristi Fitzpatrick notes that "increasing external funds for UI social-science research in the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences is the ultimate goal."
