McGehee Testifies at NTSB Hearing on Driver Distraction

Dan McGehee, director of human factors and vehicle safety research at the PPC testified at a National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) hearing on distracted driving. The day-long forum covered a variety of issues with regard to driver distraction. Experts in driver behavior, technology and recent outcomes data were presented to all five members of the safety board. McGehee was asked to discuss the unique aspects of teen driver distraction relative to adult drivers.
