PPC Student Takes First Prize at Jakobsen Conference

Astha Singhal, Graduate Research Assistant on oral health projects in the PPC's Health Program, won first prize in the Biological and Health Sciences division at the Jakobsen Conference held on March 28^th. The Jackobsen Conference, a campus-wide research/graduate work conference, is organized by the Graduate Student Senate in co-sponsorship with the Graduate College. Ms. Singhal's presentation was titled, Emergency Department use for dental conditions: National trends over 10 years.
